Amazing things have happened during Pöttinger's 150-year history. Franz Pöttinger, as a master watchmaker, always had his ear to the pulse of the time and was quick to realize when the hour of mechanization in agriculture had come. He was also a locksmith, a blacksmith, a well digger, and when he founded the firm it was certainly not possible to imagine that one and a half centuries later an internationally successful company would still bear his name. PÖTTINGER in 2021 has a lot in common with the company back in 1871. Then as now, it is a family-run business, in which the focus on people and a down-to-earth approach are very important.
