Liquid Humic Acid:
Liquid is hands down the easiest to handle and apply. Pick an AB line and turn on booms to coat soil and plants with medium or coarse droplets. Don’t tank mix with herbicides, you never know if you’re tying up active ingredients. Another great way to apply liquid humic acid is through the liquid kit on your drill or planter. There is no worry of plugging if you use high quality products like SoilFuel Premium+ or BioGro Premium 6– you can shove those products through a tick’s ass. The benefits of liquid are many and you can’t forget turf applications. It’s very easy to throw your shirt off, crank some AC/DC and start watering your lawn with a venturi feeding your garden hose. Live out all your childhood firefighter fantasies while fertilizing your lawn.
Granular Humic Acid:
Soluble Humic Granules are a great option too. The granules are very easy to blend into urea or MAP and the blends store well through the winter. When spring hits, pull up your tractor, hook up to the Fast Ag DuraSpread and cover acres quickly and evenly. If you don’t have fertilizer blending capabilities, you can just as easily throw your granular humic acid into a saddle tank and meter it through your air drill. Always make sure you get your humic granules close the to the seed, they should be best friends in the soil.
Powdered Humic Acid:
Extremely hydrophilic which means that it loves water. Get your sturdiest forklift and a modified Chembine hooked up to a pump and water tank. Before you know it you’ll have birthed your own batch of humic acid (Mazel Tov). Take the inductor from the side of the Chembine, move it to the bottom and drop it directly into the suction stream. The water rushing by will pull the powder in and push it to the tank where aggressive agitation will further aid in the breakdown. If it sounds easy, let me assure you- it isn’t.
